The 7th ALCESXXI Conference, held at the Universitat de Valencia from 14 to 17 July 2026, provided the setting for a ClimArt3 multiplier event. ALCESXXI is an international collective of educators, creators, publishers and producers dedicated to contemporary literature, cinema and culture, committed to fostering dialogue and social engagement among cultural actors, with participants drawn from more than 70 American and European universities. With 139 attendees from around the world, the conference offered an ideal platform for disseminating ClimArt3's strategy and results to a broad academic and cultural audience.

As part of the conference, ClimArt3 took part in the opening ceremony, alongside representatives of the Universitat de València and international partner universities from the United States. The project also proposed a public talk titled "Comics and the DANA," featuring comic artists Cristina Durán and Miguel Ángel Giner — both personally affected by the Valencia flooding of October 2024 and winners of Spain's National Comic Award in 2019 — who shared their personal experience and discussed the creative process behind their forthcoming graphic novel recounting the disaster. The talk, attended by 70 people, also gave voice to other people directly affected by the DANA, who spoke with the authors and the audience.

In parallel, ClimArt3 ran a dedicated workshop, "Comics to Rethink Climate Change," exploring how comics can be used as a tool for public engagement, science communication and education around the climate emergency. Participants examined how science and climate change are represented in graphic narrative, discussed existing outreach experiences using comics, and took part in a hands-on session creating fanzines on climate-related themes. The workshop involved 15 enrolled participants working in small groups, and produced a rich set of materials — including slide presentations and practical templates — designed to support the use of comics as a didactic tool in schools and universities.

Overall, the multiplier event allowed ClimArt3 to bring its methodology combining art and climate education into an international academic forum, connecting the project with researchers, creators and educators from across Europe and the Americas and extending its impact well beyond the school community directly involved in the project.

"The Future of the Earth Is Not Animation!" — Presentation of Climate Change Animated Films

On Thursday, 11 June 2026, the Cyprus partner schools hosted the national Multiplier Event which represented the project's official platform for presenting and disseminating results to the wider community. It featured the screening of the animated short films created by students under the ClimART 3.0 programme, all centred on the theme of climate change and the message that "the future of the Earth is not animation."

The event drew an exceptionally wide audience of over 100 participants, reflecting the strong local interest in climate education. Attendees included teachers and officials from the Cyprus Ministry of Education, representatives of the Department of Meteorology, the Department of Forests, the Statistical Service of Cyprus, the Cyprus Police, the Cyprus Parliament, healthcare and mental health professionals, journalists, university students, parents, and members of the public — alongside students and staff from both organising schools.

The initiative was recognised by the European Commission as a Good Practice, with an approval rating of 98%, for its awareness-raising materials produced in cooperation with the Cyprus Department of Meteorology.

On 16 June 2026, the Spanish partner school hosted a Multiplier Event as part of the Erasmus+ ClimART 3.0 project, engaging both the school community and the wider town of Vall d'Uixó.

The day was structured in two sessions. In the morning, students took part in a presentation of the ClimART 3.0 project, followed by a series of hands-on workshops on climate change, stop motion animation, and the Eclipsi programme. The session closed with an activity on European values through the JECO game, exploring how to live together and build community.

In the afternoon, the event opened to the local public with a presentation of the project to the town, followed by a repeat of the workshops and a final gathering with refreshments.

A rich and community-rooted event, bringing climate education and creative tools beyond the classroom walls.

On 13 May 2026, the 1st SHS of Metamorfosi in Greece hosted a Multiplier Event as part of the Erasmus+ ClimART 3.0 project: Creativity, Climate Action & Digital Storytelling.

The day brought together students, teachers and guests around the project's core theme — using art and animation to educate about climate change. Presentations on the climate crisis were followed by showcases of student-created comics and stop motion animations, highlighting how creativity and digital storytelling can become powerful tools for environmental awareness.

The event closed with a presentation of the ClimART 3.0 activities experienced by students during their mobility in Bologna, celebrating the cultural exchange and collaboration with partner schools.

On the 30th of March, students in the fourth year of secondary school at Las Escuelas de Artesanos organised an event to promote the climART project to teachers, external experts and their fellow students in other years who had not taken part, as well as on social media. 

To achieve this, more than 250 students were introduced to the work carried out through drawing and comic-book workshops that explained the project.

The pupils enjoyed a day of fellowship, interaction and learning.

A vibrant day of training and dialogue on climate change, bringing together schools, researchers, institutions and businesses.

From animated storytelling to scientific research and sustainable urban policies, the event showcased how creative and interdisciplinary approaches can empower a greener future!
